MID-CENTURY MODERN CHAIR AND OTTOMAN, EAMES ERA,price reduced for sale in Fife Lake, Michigan

this chair is a great mid-century modern chair from the space age or Eames era. It has that Jetson look with molded wood on the back and flared arms. It is a rare find and has the ottoman with it! I did some research and these go for anywhere from $500 to $5000. This is most likely a George Mulhauser for Plycraft chair. I've included pics of a Geo Mulhauser to show you it's virtually the same.
It has dark brown crushed velvet upholstery and is tufted. There is a little head pillow that flips from front to back if you don't want to use it.
There are a few tiny holes which are barely noticeable and I have kept it covered to protect it.
One of the legs is missing a "foot" pad and one of the rungs needs the stripping to be tacked down. Or just remove all the stripping as this is the way I have seen most of the chairs on line ( must have been a problem with the company and so they just remove the strips which actually makes it look better!)
The chair is made to tip back but not swivel. It's pretty comfortable and sits well.
